Milwaukee Bonecrushers fall to 0-7

After a furious comeback at the Boneyard on Sunday, the Bonecrushers offense struggled to get on track in a 51-28 loss to the Saginaw Sting Wednesday night in Saginaw Michigan.

Despite two touchdowns receptions from Brian Sylvas, the Bonecrushers were unable to overcome six touchdown passes from Sting QB Damon Dowdell.

The Bonecrushers jumped out to an early 7-0 lead when QB Cody Craig connected on a 24 yard touchdown pass with Marques Johnson, but Saginaw went on a 34-0 tear to lead 34-7 at the half.

The second half saw the Bonecrushers come our strong again with Craig and Sylvas hooking up for 17 yard TD followed by a 23 yard touchdown run by Brian Jennings Jr to cut the lead to 34-20.

Saginaw put the game away when the tandem of Dowdell and receiver Nick Body connected for a pair of touchdowns extending the lead back out to 48-20.

With the loss the Bonecrushers fall to 0-7 in the Western Division of the Great Lakes conference, with Saginaw breaking a two game losing streak and improving to 6-2

The Bonecrushers continue to be road warriors with their next road match-up on Friday May 9th at the New Jersey Revolution, followed by a trip to Muskegon to battle the Thunder on May 17th, before returning home for back to back home games on Friday May 23rd versus the Rock City Raptors and Saturday May 31st hosting the Saginaw Sting in a rematch.
